Trihale nasal spray

Description

Mechanism:
It works by blocking the release of natural substances that cause inflammation and allergy symptoms in the nose.

Usage:
It is typically used once daily. While some symptoms may improve on the first day, it may take up to a week of daily use to feel the full benefit.

Age Restrictions:
It is approved for adults and children as young as 2 years old, though a doctor should be consulted for children.

How to Use

• Shake the bottle gently before each use.
• Prime the pump before the first use by spraying into the air five times, or once if it has not been used for over two weeks.
• Gently blow your nose to clear the nostrils if needed.
• Close one nostril with your finger.
• Insert the spray tip into the other nostril, aiming it towards the back of the nose, away from the nasal septum (the center divider).
• Sniff gently while pressing down firmly and quickly on the spray pump to release the medicine.
• Repeat the process for the other nostril.
• Avoid blowing your nose for 15 minutes after use.
• Wipe the tip of the bottle with a clean tissue and replace the cap after each use. The applicator should be cleaned periodically with warm water.

• Changes in taste or smell

Important Precautions

• Do not spray the medicine into your eyes or mouth. If this happens, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not use the spray for more than the recommended duration without consulting a healthcare provider, especially in children, as long-term use can increase the risk of infection or potentially slow growth.
• Consult a doctor if you have a recent nose injury or surgery, unhealed sores in your nose, vision problems like cataracts or glaucoma, or an existing infection (tuberculosis, measles, chickenpox, or a fungal infection).
• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is generally only recommended if the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk; consult a doctor.
